This trip visits an elephant training camp in a picturesque valley setting. You will see how elephants manipulate logs before taking an elephant ride to hill. You will also ride an oxcart and drift down the river on a bamboo raft, much as loggers once did in the former floating seasons, The tour continues to visit “Long neck Karen Village” ethnic group from Myanmar. The return journey in clouds a visit an Wat Baandan and orchid farm.
Wat Baan Den or Baan Den Temple, Good opportunity to take a photo and explore a traditional Thai Buddhist temple, and this complex is huge, with many beautiful buildings and statuary to explore. Buddha image hall is very large teak wood building Lanna style. The temple grounds are large white lion figures called Singha in Thai, acting as guardians, Naka. Also you can see countryside view at the front of temple.
8.15 am : Pick up time from your hotel.
9.45 am. : Arrive Mae Taman Elephant Camp. See elephant show & Logging demonstration.
Enjoy riding the Elephant through the hill. Enjoy riding the Ox-cart.
11.30 am. : Lunch
12.30 pm : Visit Long neck Hill tribe village. And take a bamboo rafting along Mae Tang river.
15.00 pm : Depart to Chiangmai city and make a break at Wat Baanden and Orchid farm.
17.00 pm : Transfer back to your hotel.
